The GAiGE has been updated

The GAiGE 1.1.0 has gone live. It's the most substantial update we've shipped since launch, and it arrives at a moment when the AI measurement landscape is meaningfully shifting.

Why the timing matters

For two years, AI tool measurement has been stuck on activity data. Daily active users, sessions, prompts sent. None of that is value. OpenAI started shipping Impact Surveys inside ChatGPT last month, and Microsoft, Anthropic, Google and GitHub are all expected to follow within the year. That move is, on balance, a positive one for the category. The conversation is finally moving past "are people using this?" toward "are people getting value from this?".

It also makes the comparability problem worse, not better. When every vendor measures themselves on their own scale, with their own questions, designed to surface their own product favourably, "which tool is paying off?" stops having a single defensible answer. We've written up the full case on The GAiGE blog, including a four-question diagnostic any CFO can run on any vendor's impact data.

The 1.1.0 release sharpens our position into that exact gap: independent, cross-vendor, outcome-led. Independent because we don't sell ChatGPT, Copilot, Claude or Gemini, so our measurement isn't motivated to make any of them look good. Cross-vendor because the same methodology applies to every tool in your stack. Outcome-led because we measure what the team is getting, not what each vendor's dashboard counts as activity.

What just shipped

A full editorial design refresh across the marketing site and the in-product dashboard. Cleaner typography, more considered layout, less SaaS-pill aesthetic. The dense data UI (gauges, reports, comparisons) stays sharp where it matters; everything else got room to breathe.

A public sample report at thegaige.com/sample-report. The full interactive AI Impact Report, running against a demo organisation. No signup, no card. Shareable directly with a CFO or buying committee.

Downloadable PDF reports inside the dashboard. Branded, board-pack-ready, generated server-side against the customer's live filters. Useful for monthly leadership updates and renewal-budget conversations.

A "View the demo" toggle for logged-in users. Customers can switch their active context into the seeded demo organisation from the sidebar, then back to their own org with one click. Useful when they want to show a populated dashboard to a colleague or exec before their own pulses have fully landed.

Three new long-form articles on the GAiGE blog: "Why AI vendor impact surveys can't replace independent measurement", "How to compare AI tools like-for-like", and the inaugural "What's new" product updates post. The first two are written for the CFO conversation.

The trial default has flipped from Lite to Standard. New trialers now see the full measurement story across all three core pulses (The AI Pulse, The AI Review, The AI Capability Check) from day one. Trial users can still switch down to Lite mid-trial at zero billing impact.
